CURRENT PRODUCTION
New Old Theater is happy to announce a free program May 18, 2024 featuring the of the Battle of Baltimore
New Old Theater presents a Moving Diorama  inspired the Eidophusikon, a London theatrical curiosity from the late 1700s.
Viewers will thrill to a miniature bombardment of Fort McHenry by British bomb vessels; the “bombs bursting in air” and the “rockets’ red glare” with suitable commentary and role playing by company members of New Old Theater. The stage effects will mimic what was sometimes presented in theaters in the 1700s and 1800s.
In addition, there will be performances by Ship’s Company Chanteymen prior to and following the Diorama performance.
Plus, Check out the history displays at this farm site that British forces passed on the way to attack Baltimore.
Please join us at Todd’s Inheritance for this FREE program of historically inspired music and theatrics.
